FINANCES
Found here are the finances behind Macaron, mon Ami?. By creating a demand schedule and curve, determining the start-up costs, finding the break-even point, analyzing the profit margin, and devising a income statement, I was able to price, sell, and profit from my product. I also maintained proof of the money that went into this project by keep receipts.

By asking the target market, "How much would you pay for a French macaron?", I was able to create a demand schedule and a demand curve from that. Most people said they would pay between $1.50 and $2.50 for my macarons. However, since one of Macaron, mon Ami?'s goals is to sell inexpensive macarons so many more people can enjoy macarons without hurting their wallet, I will place the selling price slightly below the competitors' prices at $1.25.

Start-up costs for my project include research & development, licenses & permits, branding, and other expenses. The total start-up cost was $******.

My receipt log includes most of the items and licenses/permits on which I have spent money for this project. The official documents were definitely the most costly.
